Through our scholarship and endowment initiatives, we provide more than $40,000 each year to deserving students from Georgia who are preparing to enroll in the state’s colleges, technical colleges, and universities. The annual GMF Scholarship does more than help with tuition — it also connects recipients with the Georgia Mining Association and its member companies, offering both financial support and industry links that enhance their educational experience. GACD offers an annual scholarship of $1,000 to promote education and career pursuits in the field of soil and water conservation. This financial aid is available to students who are either currently majoring in, or plan to major in, a discipline related to soil and water conservation. Kids’ Chance of Virginia is a nonprofit that offers college scholarships to children whose parent or guardian was killed, seriously injured, or developed a debilitating illness as a result of a workplace accident or occupational disease.
