STEP #1 - CREATE

Create and wear your original promwear using Duck Brand duct tape and/or Duck Brand crafting tape. Remember to take a high resolution pic of the big moment! See official rules for details.

STEP #2 - SUBMIT

Fill out the entry form where you’ll upload at least one pic of yourself in your Duck promwear and fill in more details. Don’t forget to get your parent’s permission if you’re under 18 years old for the photography release. After you submit, a confirmation email will be delivered right to your inbox.

STEP #3 - VOTE

Have a favorite you want to win? Register and vote on this site using your email address and wait to hear the results.

Eligibility

The Contest is open to any participant who meets the following requirements (an “Eligible Participant”):

(i) is a legal resident of (and is physically located or resides in) the United States, District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and all U.S. territories and possessions (excluding, Maryland, Tennessee, Colorado, Vermont, Nebraska and North Dakota), or is a legal resident of (and is physically located or resides in) Canada (excluding the Province of Quebec);

(ii) is 14 years of age or older; and

(iii) is enrolled in a high school or home school association at the high-school level during the 2021-2022 school year.

Anyone who was designated as a Finalist in a previous Duck Brand Duct Tape Stuck at Prom Scholarship Contest is not eligible to participate in this Contest. Void where prohibited. The following persons are ineligible to enter: Employees, directors and officers (and their immediate families including spouse, parents, children, siblings, and their respective spouses), and their respective household members (whether related or not), of Sponsor, and their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, divisions, advertising and promotion agencies, and all others associated with the design, execution, production, development, and promotion of this Contest.
Western Regional Chapter Scholarship

Qualifications for Scholarship Eligibility: 1. Heritage Must be of Korean heritage (i.e., have a Korean parent, grandparent, or great-grandparent, or be adopted from Korea). The Western region is not currently offering scholarships to non-Korean descendants of Korean War veterans. 2. Enrollment Will be a full-time student at a school in one of the designated Western region states (Alaska, Arizona, California, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, and Washington) during the 2022-2023 school year. 3. Academics Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0. 4. Financial Need Can demonstrate a need for financial assistance.

SILA Foundation Scholarships

Between April 1st-May 31st each year, the Securities and Insurance Licensing Association Foundation, Inc. (SILA Foundation, Inc.) is proud to offer the availability of ten one thousand dollar ($1000.00) scholarships to students focused on careers in the insurance and securities industry for use at any accredited post-secondary college or university within the continental United States. (SILA Foundation, Inc.) is proud to offer the availability of ten one thousand dollar ($1000.00) scholarships to students focused on careers in the insurance and securities industry for use at any accredited post-secondary college or university within the continental United States.

Applicant Requirements

A) Be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident

B) Have a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.00 or better

C) Be enrolled in one of the following areas of study:

1) Business administration

2) Education

3) Finance or accounting

4) Insurance studies

5) Marketing

6) Mathematics

D) Be enrolled in a minimum of twelve (12) credit hours at an accredited post-secondary school OR

E) Be employed full-time and enrolled in a minimum of six (6) credit hours at an accredited post-secondary school

Application Requirements

A) A completed and electronically signed SILA Foundation Scholarship Application (submissions accepted April 1-May 31st)

B) A copy of a scholastic transcript that proves the academic requirement

Note: If you are a high school graduating senior please provide a copy of your high school transcript. If selected, you MUST provide a copy of your upcoming fall enrollment schedule from your college/university before we can release the fund.

C) A letter of reference

D) Employment verification letter if applying for consideration as a full-time employee

Note: If you fail to provide all required documentation at the time of application, your application will not be considered. If you request a copy of your transcript to be sent directly to us from your college/university, please upload the receipt from your request.

What you need to know

A) Applications are accepted from April 1 through May 31

B) Scholarships are awarded for the upcoming school year

C) Recipients are awarded based on the substance and value of the application information provided

D) Applications are evaluated and approved by the SILA Foundation

E) If chosen as a scholarship recipient, proof of citizenship or permanent residency is required (i.e. copy of US Passport, or birth certificate, or state issued driver's license, or USCIS Permanent Resident Card)
