Intro
The Foster Children Education Foundation Scholarship offers financial support to young people who are currently, or were formerly, in Nevada’s foster care system. Eligible applicants include those who were never legally adopted or were not expected to be adopted; those adopted at age 13 or older; and those who were placed with foster families outside Nevada and adopted at age 13 or older. Preference is given to candidates who have experienced foster care in Washoe County.
