Ron and Linda Smith Family Scholarship
Scholarship Sponsored by Community Foundation of Northern Nevada
Introduction
The Smith family values the opportunities higher education provided them and strongly supports others who seek training and schooling to improve their career prospects. Acknowledging the financial burdens that come with furthering one’s education, Ron and Linda Smith established a scholarship to help Northern Nevada students pursue their academic and vocational goals.
Scholarship overview
The Ron & Linda Smith Family Scholarship supports residents of Northern Nevada who are enrolled at Truckee Meadows Community College (TMCC), Western Nevada College (WNC), or Great Basin College (GBC), or who are participating in an approved vocational program. The award is a one-time grant of up to $1,000. Recipients may apply again for consideration in future cycles; renewal is possible through reapplication.
