American Association on Health and Disability Scholarship
Scholarship Sponsored by American Association on Health and Disability
Overview
The Frederick J. Krause Scholarship on Health and Disability recognizes students with disabilities who are advancing the fields of disability and health. The award is offered by the American Association on Health and Disability (AAHD). AAHD’s mission is to support efforts at the national, state, and local levels to improve health and wellness for people with disabilities and to identify effective interventions that reduce health disparities between people with disabilities and the general population. AAHD pursues this mission through research, education, and advocacy, and the Krause Scholarship is one way the organization supports students studying disability and health.
