DECA Student Scholarships
Scholarship Sponsored by DECA Scholarship Program
Overview
Each year at the International Career Development Conference (ICDC), DECA awards more than $200,000 in scholarships to qualifying high school and collegiate DECA members. DECA Inc. manages the scholarship program in accordance with donor-established guidelines, and all awards are determined strictly on merit.
How to apply
Applications are submitted online through the DECA scholarships portal. To begin an application, create a user profile on the site by selecting "CREATE AN ACCOUNT" and completing the required fields.
Attendance at ICDC
Winning a scholarship does not require attendance at the International Career Development Conference. Recipients may accept awards without being present at ICDC.
Eligibility
- You must be a current DECA member to be eligible for DECA scholarships. If you are unsure whether your school has a DECA chapter, contact your school counselor and register through the chapter advisor.
- Students from all grade levels may apply—from high school freshmen through Collegiate DECA members—unless a particular scholarship listing specifies a required grade level or collegiate status. If a scholarship has a stated grade-level restriction, follow that requirement for eligibility.
