Erle and Cynthia Byram Scholarship Fund

Introduction
This scholarship is open to qualifying students from southern Idaho and supports first-year, full-time study at an accredited Idaho postsecondary institution. Applications must be complete and submitted by the deadline; late or incomplete submissions will not be considered.
Eligibility
- Graduating high school seniors from any high school located in southern Idaho (areas south of the Salmon River).
- Intending to enroll as a full-time, first-year student at an Idaho public or private junior college, college, university, vocational, or technical school.
- Preference will be given to applicants who live in Camas County or Gooding County.
Required application materials
- A copy of your most recent unofficial high school transcript.
- A personal statement (1–3 pages) that addresses:
- Your educational and career goals and objectives;
- Participation in extracurricular activities, volunteer work, awards, honors, and offices held;
- Work history and whether you plan to work while attending school;
- Reasons you believe you should receive this scholarship.
- The first page of your FAFSA Student Aid Report showing your Student Aid Index (SAI).
How to apply
- Fill out the application and attach all required documents listed above.
- Merge every item into a single PDF file. Google Docs links or separate files will not be accepted.
- Email the combined PDF to scholarships@idahocf.org no later than 11:59 p.m. MST on March 15th.
