Fair Divorce Legislation Scholarship

The legal team at Moskowitz Law Group is thrilled to introduce the Fair Divorce Legislation Scholarship. Recognizing the emotional toll divorce can take, our lawyers are committed to assisting families navigate the complexities of divorce and aim to make the process as smooth as possible.
With this scholarship, we aim to provide students a platform to voice their opinions on divorce legislation. The scholarship deadline is set for February 28, 2026. A sum of $1,000 will be granted to the student who most effectively articulates their stance on the topic and the rationale behind it.
Who Can Apply?
- The scholarship is accessible to any current high school senior, vocational student, college student or graduate student who is a legal U.S. resident living in one of the 50 states or the District of Columbia and who is enrolled in a vocational program or a two to four year post-secondary institution.
- Employees of Moskowitz Law Group LLC, their immediate family members (parents, children, siblings, and spouses), and individuals residing in the same household (regardless of their relationship), are not eligible to enter the competition.
- Applicants for this scholarship should maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher and be in good academic standing overall.
How to Apply?
- Applicants must complete the form below with all required information
- Applicants must submit an essay of 750-1,000 words responding to the prompt: Discuss your views on the fairness of divorce legislation in your state. If you believe it's fair, justify your stance. If not, suggest how these laws could be amended to better serve the interests of all involved parties.
- Please be aware that all essays will be scrutinized for AI writing. If AI writing is detected, the application will be rejected.
- Applicants must submit a professional resume detailing their academic and professional experiences.
- Applicants must provide a transcript from their current school. First-year college students, graduate students, or individuals who have recently transferred schools may submit an unofficial transcript from their current school, along with the most recent official transcript from their previous school. High school students may submit proof of acceptance to their college or university.
- Preference will be given to students either from or attending secondary school in the state.
The Fair Divorce Legislation Scholarship recipient will be selected in the month following the scholarship deadline.
