John Galt Scholarship for Future Supply Chain Leaders
Scholarship Sponsored by John Galt Solutions
Description
The John Galt Solutions Scholarship for Future Supply Chain Leaders is an annual program that awards two undergraduate scholarships to students pursuing studies in business forecasting or supply chain management. Each award is intended to help cover tuition and related educational costs while recipients pursue careers in forecasting, demand planning, or supply chain leadership. The program targets full-time undergraduates enrolled at accredited institutions in the United States or Canada and is administered by John Galt Solutions. Applications are reviewed by a committee that selects recipients based on specified criteria.
- Two scholarships awarded annually to undergraduate students
- Focus on business forecasting, demand planning, and supply chain careers
- Open to students enrolled at accredited U.S. or Canadian institutions
- Administered and funded by John Galt Solutions
Eligibility
The scholarship is available only to current full-time undergraduate students enrolled at accredited higher-education institutions in the United States or Canada for the current academic year. Applicants must be pursuing a major in supply chain management, business forecasting, or a closely related program and intend to seek a career in the supply chain field. Post-graduate students and high school students are not eligible. Attendance at a U.S. or Canadian institution is required, but U.S. or Canadian citizenship is not.

- Intention to pursue a supply chain career required
- Graduate and high school students are ineligible

Award Value
Each year John Galt Solutions awards two scholarships, each valued at US$10,000. The amount is intended to assist with tuition and other education-related expenses for the award year. The program awards the two scholarships independently—each recipient receives the full $10,000.
- Two separate awards per year
- Each award is US$10,000
- Funds intended for tuition and education-related costs
Award Disbursement
Scholarship funds are issued by check and made payable directly to the recipient’s educational institution rather than to the individual. Payment is intended to be applied toward tuition or institutional charges in accordance with the school’s policies. John Galt Solutions coordinates disbursement after recipients are selected and verified.
- Payment made by check to the recipient’s school
- Funds applied according to the institution’s billing policies
- Disbursement follows recipient verification
Selection Criteria
Applicants are evaluated on three distinct areas: demonstrated passion for supply chain and forecasting, dedication to personal and professional growth, and demonstrated financial need. Evaluators expect clear examples of relevant activities, leadership, internships, coursework, or community involvement that show commitment to a supply chain career. Each of the three areas must be addressed fully in the motivational letter; failure to do so will result in disqualification.
- Evaluation focuses on passion for supply chain, personal growth, and financial need
- Concrete examples of experience and commitment strengthen applications
- Applicants must address all three evaluation areas to remain eligible
Required Documents
Two documents are required for a complete application: a motivational letter and proof of current enrollment. The motivational letter must be 500–750 words and explicitly cover the three evaluation areas—passion for supply chain, dedication to growth, and financial need. Proof of enrollment can be an official transcript or other documentation from the institution confirming full-time undergraduate status for the current academic year.
- Motivational letter: 500–750 words, must address all three required areas
- Proof of enrollment: official transcript or equivalent verification
- Incomplete submissions will not be considered
