Charles and Phyllis Frias Legacy Scholarship

This scholarship opportunity is open to high school seniors residing in Clark, Esmeralda, Lincoln, or Nye County, Nevada who have a GPA between 2.0 and 3.6 and are in need of financial assistance. The scholarship is intended for students who are planning to attend a four-year college or university on a full-time basis. Each year, five scholarships will be awarded, each worth up to $25,000. The scholarship can be renewed annually for a total of $100,000 over four years, provided the recipient maintains full-time enrollment and a cumulative GPA of at least 2.0.
Before the scholarship check is sent to the college, proof of enrollment (class schedule) will be required during the summer. The scholarship money must be used for tuition, fees, and other relevant educational expenses. The funds will be distributed evenly over two semesters.
