Intro
Our awardees pursue the fields they choose at top colleges and universities. Recent majors have included engineering, fine arts, astrophysics, Middle Eastern studies, English, and history. Current scholars are enrolled at institutions such as Duke, Georgia Institute of Technology, Stanford, the University of Texas, the University of Virginia, the University of Washington, Yale, and many other distinguished schools.
Eligibility
Applicants must be daughters of career commissioned officers in the United States armed services.
Application deadline and required materials
All applications must be submitted by March 1st of the applicant’s senior year in high school. Required materials include:
- A personal essay
- A secondary school report
- A letter of recommendation from a member of the applicant’s community
- A Student Aid Report (SAR)
About the scholarships
- Awards are distributed across four years and paid directly to the college or university the student chooses to attend.
- Selection considers both academic merit and demonstrated financial need.
