This year we will be awarding six scholarships in total:
- First Place: $2,000
- Second Place: $1,500
- Technical/Trade School Scholarship (third-place): $1,000
- Special Needs Scholarship: $500 — this award was approved by vote at our District Convention
- Memorial Scholarship: $500 in honor of the late Past District Governors Angie Yanas and Beatrice Anagnos
- Family-sponsored Scholarship: $1,000 contributed by the family of the late Helen Thomas, PDG

For over 40 years, the San Fernando Valley Alumnae Chapter has provided nearly $100,000 in tuition support to outstanding students. Each year the Chapter’s Scholarship Committee selects accomplished local high school seniors who plan to continue their education at an accredited four‑year university.
